We successfully took the case up on appeal a second time obtaining a second remand in 2020 by arguing that the ALJ failed to properly consider the evidence supporting the opinions of the client’s treating physician. As was made clear to the federal court, the ALJ cherry picked evidence focusing only on that which supported a finding that the client was not disabled. The court awarded Decker Griffel over $12,000 in attorney’s fees that were paid by the federal government and not the client.
